While all the 2014 Grand Slams have been won and lost already, focus will now shift to the ATP World Tour Finals in London for men and the WTA Finals in Singapore for women. Bringing in 8 of the top competitors from the year for a final display of tennis, this event carries almost as much weight as a major like the US Open!
ATP veteran players who typically round out the top 10 will be looking to hold their places, including Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, David Ferrer, Stanislas Wawrinka, and Andy Murray. While likely to hold their positions and gain entry to the ATP Finals, they will need to perform in final tournaments which include the China Open, the Shanghai Rolex Masters, and the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris.
Meanwhile, the world’s top 8 female singles players of 2014 are now confirmed for the season-ending WTA Championships in Singapore from the 20th-26th of October. Competing head to head for a $6.5million purse.
Be sure to catch all the action and excitement in the build up to both the WTA Finals and the ATP World Tour Finals. The 2014 tennis season is far from over! Check Championship Tennis Tours for tickets to all these fantastic events!

Another record broken by Genie Bouchard! She is now the first Canadian in 25 years to qualify as one of the Top 8 players for the end-year WTA Championships in Singapore.
